Think about the ways that all kinds of people use history on a daily basis. Does a politician use history the same way a doctor or a policeman, a teacher, or a scientist? How do you use history in your life? Do we all see history in the same way? Why or why not?
I can offer you some basic comments.
The police sometimes use a ‘wedge’ formation with their Riot Shields. The Wedge was originally used by the Romans in battle.
You always have, the remark of ‘There is no future in History’. People who study History, are more likely to make History. I am joining the Army in a few years, and hopefully my military knowledge, largely formed by my passion for History, will aid me become an officer.
It’s a good question proposed, I mean, a Sociology teacher, they usually teach topics like Marxism. That’s History. I remember in my Science lessons, we learnt about the formation of atoms, and how scientists from the past imagined the structure to look like.
