Matching Nozzle
When I print a nozzle check on a Canon printer, are the colors supposed to match the colors shown in the examp?
le shown in the user’s guide? The user’s guide says to check for missing lines, but does not say anything about colors. The colors don’t match, and I suspect that may be a problem. I emailed Canon printer support about this, and they replied that they don’t offer support for my S820 at this time, and invited me to try again later. It is several years old and if they don’t offer support now, I doubt that they will in the future. Would somebody with a Canon S820 or any bubble jet printer do a nozzle check and see if the colors match the user’s guide?
I am not talking about the colors matching exactly. I am talking about the colors being different; like red instead of blue, or gray instead of yellow.
The colors are supposed to be cyan, magenta, yellow and black.They won’t necessarily match your screen due to the different profiles and different quality monitors.
So , as long as it prints all the colors, the software you are printing fromshould offer some tweaking capabilities. If I am not istaken , go inthe prointer preferences and their should be options to vary the shades of each color so that it meets your satisfaction.
